A. The standard cable length is 5 metres this can be extended to 500 metres
using serial boosters (cost approx £140) but these are not normally required only

A. Yes. There is a setting within PGM2 – SETTING – ORDERMAN CONFIG –
‘CLEAR TIMER’ this setting 000 - 999 [in seconds], will allow the current table
registration at the till to be closed via clerk-sign-off when a transaction sent from
the OM has been received. Example if the setting is set to 10 seconds, when a
transaction is sent from the Orderman terminal the open table at the till will be
layed away after 10 seconds. Note: any items already registered that are set for
printing on the Kitchen printer will be printed.
