5. Flashing
Q. What is the flashing number in the top right hand corner indicating?

A. This is showing RF Channel number that the terminal is set up for (the base
station should be the same or there will be RF Connection error

.

6. Channel Number
Q. How do I find out which RF Channel number the base station is set to?

A. Go to Extended Menu and perform a scan, the RF Channel in range will be
displayed

7. Setup menu
Q. How do I get into the Orderman “Set Up Menu” and “Extended Menu”?

A. 1. Power of Terminal, 2. Touch screen and at same time press the power on
button, wait for calibrate to appear on screen. 3. Press the power on button
again. You should now be in Orderman set up screen.

You are now in Extended Menu.

8. Connection error
Q.  “RF CONNECTION ERROR”

A. This means there is something wrong with the RF connection, ususlly the RF
Channel between the bas Station and the Hand Held is not the same.

9. Channel Number
Q.  How do I change the RF Channel on the Hand held to match that of the Base
station.

A. The base station channel number may be flashing in the top right hand corner
of the terminal, go to extended menu, select RF Channel and select the channel
number to the same as the Base station.

10. Freezing
Q.  The OM terminal seemed to be stuck on the SYNC DATA BASE screen with
the ARTICLES being downloaded.

A. After a program change on the OM terminal this database sync can take upto
5 mins

11. Power Save
Q. Can I change the Power Off timeout?

A. Go to Extended Menu select the Timeout icon and inn here you can set the
Power Off or the Backlight timers.
