29. Channel Number
Q. How do I find out which RF Channel number the base station is set to?

A. Go to Extended Menu and perform a scan, the RF Channel in range will be
displayed

30. Open price entry
Q. Can we use the “Open Price” feature to manually enter or override a preset
PLU price.

A. Unfortunately, although this feature may appear on the Orderman Terminal it
is not available.

31. Price shift
Q. Can we change the Price Shift of the selected PLU

A. Yes, once the PLU has been entered onto the OM Terminal you can touch the
item in the receipt window area a mneu will appear for you to select the price
level: Normal = Price Level 1, P1 = Price Level 2 and P2 = Price level 3 of the
ECR prices

32. Price shift
Q. I have 8 Price Shifts on the UP800 but when I select the Price Shift (Modifier)
on the OM terminal only three shifts appear

A. The OM terminal can only support three price shifts these will be the Normal
Price 1 and two of the following Price Shift 2, 3 or 4.

33. Price shift
Q. How should the Price Shift feature be set up on an Orderman system.

A. You should only use up to three Price Shifts on the ECR as the Orderman can
not support more than three.

34. Demo Mode
Q. After cancelling the server logon is it possible to disable the option to go into
‘Demo Mode.

No, but you can change the text with an adjustment in the OSC (Ordersolution

Configurator)
Connect your OMB2 with an assembled DSP module to your pc and start the
OSC.
Then upload everything from the DSP Module (Button: Upload)
After this process please switch to first point in the left window (Text Translation
Table)
You can write or change every information and error text in this mode.
