As the countermeasure for the lines when scanning the data from the document feeder, 
we have added the mode (except when the paper jam occurs) to search the most 
uncontaminated scan position on start-up (when power ON) and also on completion of 
scanning the job from the document feeder to the Soft SW so that it becomes possible 
to scan from the most uncontaminated scan position from the next scanning of the job 
from the document feeder.

When the machine entered to the Power Saving mode with LAN being disconnected, the 
communication became impossible even though LAN was connected afterward.  This 
problem has been corrected. 

18  Simulation 

Factory default setting of Sim26-32 "Fusing cleaning operation spec settings" has been 
changed from "1: NO" to "0: YES".

When performing SIM50-22 "Image registration adjustment (Auto adjustment), the 
following errors might occur.  This problem has been corrected.

The reduction of toner concentration is detected under the environment of the low copy 
volume but there were some cases where the DV recovery mode by the process control 
except the process control for the travelling distance was not performed.  This problem 
has been corrected.

There were some cases where "F2-6x" trouble was caused when the toner could not be 
replenished within a set time due to the imbalance of the toner etc.  For the 
countermeasures of this problem, the modification has been made to prevent from the 
false determination of "F2-6x" by performing the toner replenishment operation again 
when the machine detects that the

 

toner dispense rate is not enough.   

22  Others 

"Eup Lot4" that is one of the European environment standards has now been supported.
