2-5. Mechanical Deck Assembly
1.
Remove the upper cabinet assembly. (Refer to Section
1-2-1.)

Remove the front panel assembly. (Refer to Section 1-

Remove the CD-RW drive assembly. (Refer to Section
2-1.)

Remove the DK-42 board. (Refer to Section 2-2-3.)

Remove the four screws (BVTP 2.6
x 8), then remove
the paper eject guide.

Disconnect one flexible flat cable from the connector
(CN2) and one harness from the connector (CN1) on
the switching regulator.

Remove the four screws (BVTP 2.6
x 8) and
disconnect one harness, then remove the mechanical
deck assembly.
8.
Attach a mechanical deck assembly in the reverse
order of steps 1 to 7.
