Remove the upper cabinet assembly. (Refer to Section
1-2-1.)

Remove the front panel assembly. (Refer to Section 1-

Remove the CD-RW drive assembly. (Refer to Section
2-1.)

4.
Remove the DK-42 board. (Refer to Section 2-2-3.)
5.
Remove the mechanical deck assembly. (Refer to
Section 2-5.)
6.
Disconnect one flexible flat cable.
7.
Remove the two screws, then remove the VS-42 board.
8.
Attach a VS-42 board in the reverse order of steps 1 to
7.

Remove one screw, then remove the JD-42 board.

Disconnect one harness from the JD-42 board.

Attach a JD-42 board in the reverse order of steps 1 to
