2-2-2. SW-42 Board
1.
Remove the upper cabinet assembly. (Refer to Section
1-2-1.)

Remove the front panel assembly. (Refer to Section 1-
2-2.)

Remove the two screws (M2), then open the door.
4.
Remove the five claws using a slotted screwdriver,
then remove the door (outside).
5.
Remove the two screws (BTP 2
x 6), then remove the
SW-42 board.
6.
Disconnect one harness.
7.
Attach a SW-42 board in the reverse order of steps 1 to
6.

Remove the upper cabinet assembly. (Refer to Section
1-2-1.)

Remove the front panel assembly. (Refer to Section 1-
2-2.)

Remove the CD-RW drive assembly. (Refer to Section
2-1)

4.
Remove the two screws (BVTT 2.6
x 5), then remove
the barrier plate.
5.
Disconnect the four flexible flat cables from the
connectors (CN202, CN251, CN252, and CN253) on
connectors (CN202, CN251, CN252, and CN253) on
the DK-42 board.
6.
Remove the four screws (BVTP 2.6
x 8).
7.
Raise the ferrite holder, then remove the DK-42 board.
8.
Remove the four solders, then remove the upper DK
shield case from the DK-42 board.
