2-3. DC Fan
1.
Remove the upper cabinet assembly. (Refer to Section
1-2-1.)

Remove the duct. (Refer to Section 2-1.)
3.
Remove one harness from the connector (CN903) on
the MD-42 board.
4.
Remove the two screws, then remove the DC fan.
5.
Attach a DC fan in the reverse order of steps 1 to 4.

Remove the upper cabinet assembly. (Refer to Section
1-2-1.)

Remove the front panel assembly. (Refer to Section 1-

Remove the CD-RW drive assembly. (Refer to Section
2-1.)

4.
Remove the DK-42 board. (Refer to Section 2-2-3.)
5.
Disconnect one harness and one flexible flat cable
from the switching regulator.
6.
Remove the four screws, then remove the switching
regulator in the direction indicated by the arrow.
7.
Attach a switching regulator in the reverse order of
steps 1 to 6.
