2-1. CD-RW Drive Assembly
1.
Remove the upper cabinet assembly. (Refer to Section
1-2-1.)

Remove the front panel assembly. (Refer to Section 1-
2-2.)

Remove the two screws (PSW 2.6
x 6), then remove
the duct.
4.
Remove one screw (BVTP 2.6
x 8), then remove the
CD-RW assembly.
5.
Disconnect one flexible flat cable from the connector
(CN501) on the DK-42 board.

Remove the three screws (BVTT 2.6
x 5), then
remove the CDR reinforcing plate.
7.
Remove the two screws (P 2
x2), then remove the
CDR holder assembly.
8.
Remove the two screws (P 2
x2), then remove the
CDR fixing plate (F).
9.
Disconnect one flexible flat cable from the CD-423
board.

10. Pull out the CD-423 board.
11. Attach CD-RW drive assembly in the reverse order of
steps 1 to 10.

the CS mounting plate.

Remove one screw (M2), then remove the CS-42
board.

Attach a CS-42 board in the reverse order of steps 1 to
