1-3. VIDEO SYSTEM ADJUSTMENTS

Video Output Level Adjustment (VOUT)
Note:
When performing the video output level adjustment, set the video output (Setup menu) to “NTSC”.
Required equipment
PC with preinstalled the DSLR-A100 adjustment program
Code with connector (USB, AV)
AC adaptor/charger (AC-VQ900AM)
Oscilloscope
Procedure of the adjustment
1. Connect the camera and PC with the code with connector (USB, AV). (Fig. 1)
2. Set camera to adjustment mode.
Refer to “Starting up the DSLR-A100 adjustment program (in the adjustment mode)”.
3. Click “VOUT” of the adjustment menu.
4. “Does it adjust?” appears. Click “YES”.
5. “VOUT ADJUSTMENT” menu is displayed. (Next page Fig. 2)
6. Click “INITIALIZE” of VOUT ADJUSTMENT menu.
7. The video output waveform is observed with the oscilloscope.
Recommended setting of oscilloscope
Measurement mode: TV mode
VOLT/DIV: 200 mV
8. Read the sync signal level (A) of the video output waveform. (Next page Fig. 4)
9. Input the read value [mV] in the “READ DATA:”. (Next page Fig. 3)
10. Click “SET”.
11. Click “END”.
12. “VOUT adjustment has completed!” appears when adjustment is completed.
13. After completed adjustments, check that the sync signal level (A) satisfies the specified value.
