1-4. LCD SYSTEM ADJUSTMENTS

LCD Adjustment (LCD)
Adjust the picture quality (flicker, color) of LCD monitor.
Required equipment
PC with preinstalled the DSLR-A100 adjustment program
USB cable
AC adaptor/charger (AC-VQ900AM)
Procedure of the adjustment
1. Set camera to adjustment mode.
Refer to “Starting up the DSLR-A100 adjustment program (in the adjustment mode)”.
2. Click “LCD” of the adjustment menu.
3. “Does it adjust?” appears. Click “YES”.
4. Click “INTIALIZE” of LCD-VCOM in Lcd Adjustment menu. (Fig. 1)
5. Click the +/- buttons so that the brightness on the left and right sides of the LCD screen becomes same. (Fig. 2)
6. When the brightness on both sides becomes same, click “SET”.
7. Click “INTIALIZE”of LCD-WB in Lcd Adjustment menu. (Next page Fig. 3)
8. Click “13” of CHART in Lcd Adjustment menu.
9. Confirm that the LCD screen that displays the test pattern is colorless, and then click “SET”. (Next page Fig.4)
Note:
If the LCD screen is colored, check the intensity of each component of Red/Green (red) and Blue/Green (blue), and adjust
each color with the UP/DOWN buttons.
Reduce the Red/Green (red) value if red is strong, or raise the Red/Green (red) value if weak.
Similarly, adjust the Blue/Green (blue) value.
10. For “25”, “38”, “50”, “63” of CHART, make a confirmation in the same manner.
11. Click “END”.
12. “LCD adjustment has completed!” appears when adjustment is completed.
13. After the adjustment, the test pattern remains on the LCD. Accordingly, exit the adjustment program.
