Double click “Simulation Command List”, “Special (Whale Desk)” and then “Download to 
the Program Area”.

When the Desk ROM window is displayed, click “Start”.

Select the data file to be written and click “Open”. Writing is then started. 

 

 

 

11. 

Once Writing is completed (displayed on the PC), power off the copier and disconnect 
the Level converter. 

 

Firmware Update is complete 

 

Note: If the copier is powered on with the Level Converter still attached to the Desk unit, 
the copier may indicate a “U6-00” trouble code and will not display any desk paper 
cassettes, within the operation LCD display
