Connect an IEE1284 centronics cable from the PC to the Parallel port of the Tiger.

Start Windows.
Using Windows explorer, browse to the folder that contains both firmware data files
and the “fcopy.exe” program.

Power on the copier -

Press the menu key twice (Firm Update From Parallel will be displayed). &
press OK.

When the message “Firm Update Waiting Data” is displayed, download the
*.SFU program file by using FCOPY (drag the “SFU” file onto the “FCOPY.EXE”
icon).

The Copier Display will change to "Firm Update Conf Writing Data"

Once the firmware has been written and verified, the machine will display
"Firm Update Result : OK"

Power off the copier and remove the flashcard from the write socket of the
Tiger MFP. Install the flashcard back into the AR-C260 and confirm the firmware
version by using Simulation 22-05.

Revert the Tiger control jumpers back to the default location:-
AR-Mxxx -
Set JP2 & JP5 to L
AR-Pxxx
Set JP2 & JP4 to L
Firmware Upgrade is complete.
