Memory initial
Memory initial selection will allow you to reset all the sales data
that are contained in the memory of the UP3300 to zero, this
includes all counters such as consecutive numbers etc. but will not
include the Electronic Journal file.
Again because of the consequences of this job you are asked to
confirm your selection.
S.S.P
The  S.S.P, which is next from the Menu, stands for Special
Service Pre-set.
S.S.P's are a set of numbers that form a program, which can be
entered into your machine. These S.S.P's are usually released to
enhance a particular feature.
IR data send & IR data receive
The last 2 items on the settings menu are IR data send, and IR
data
receive, these refer to the Infra Red transfer of data between
two UP3300`s or between a UP3300 and floppy disc loader. The
IR transfer is to be used as a service tool to allow an engineer to
send the complete contents of one UP3300 to another UP3300.
That concludes Guide-2, Service menu settings.
