SAL70300G2 (4.5-5.6/70-300 G SSM II) (70-300mm F4.5-5.6 G SSM II)

1.  Rotating the focus ring in the arrow direction, align the notch with the 1st-F linkage pin insertion groove.
2.  Aligning the 1st-F linkage pin insertion hole of rotary barrel assy with the 1st-F linkage pin insertion groove, install the rotary barrel 

assy.
Note:

  Since the 1st-F linkage pin insertion hole is not 180

°

symmetry, be careful of the direction of assembling.

3.  Make pairs of two pieces of 1st-F linkage pin and two pieces of 1st-F linkage coma and install them to the rotary barrel assy.

  Assemble them until the 1st-F linkage coma engages with the 1st-F linkage pin insertion groove.

4.  Confirm the action of rotary barrel assy.

Grease (G-48): 

J-6082-669-A

Grease (G-116):  J-6082-628-A

1.  Apply the Grease (G-48) and (G-116) to the indicated portions of MF connect barrel A.

2.  Install the MF connect barrel A, aligning three locations of groove A of MF connect barrel A with three locations of convex A of focus
