6. Video Input/Output Circuit
(1) Analog video input
(i) Composite signal input
• Output to the composite terminal
(P.31)
The normal composite video input is input to the selectors (IC307 and IC306), and the selected
analog video output is output to the composite output terminals (VIDEO1 OUT, VIDEO2 OUT,
VIDEO3 OUT, and ZONE OUT 2ND) via the video amplifiers (IC304 and IC305).
The mute signal of each terminal is output from the video mute control (IC303) to the video
amplifier (IC304).
• Output to the composite monitor terminal
(P.31, P.32)
The analog video output signal (MON-OUT-V) selected by the selectors returns to the video
amplifier (IC305) via the OSD switch (IC1327) as the MON-IN-V signal, and is then output from
the MONITOR OUT S2 VIDEO terminal.
If the OSD screen is to be inserted, the OSD driver (IC1329) output is output from the OSD
switch (IC1327) to the video amplifier (IC1327) and the video amplifier (IC305).
The mute signal of each terminal is output from the video mute control (IC303) to the video
amplifier (IC305).
• Output to the S-terminal
(P.31, P.32)
The analog video output signal (MON-OUT-V) selected by the selectors is transmitted to the
digital filter (IC1323) via the OSD switch (IC1327) and the video amplifier (IC1321), and then
divided into Y/C signals. Then, they are output to the monitor out (OUT1, OUT2) at the S-terminal
via the OSD switch (IC1324) and the S-video switch (IC1322).
If the OSD screen is to be inserted, the Y/C output of the OSD driver (IC1329) is input to the OSD
switch (IC1324).
The mute signal of each terminal is output from the video mute control (IC303) to the video
amplifier (IC305).
• Output to the component terminal
The analog video output signal (MON-OUT-V) selected by the selectors is transmitted to the
digital filter (IC1323) via the OSD switch (IC1327) and the video amplifier (IC1321), and then
divided into Y/C signals. Then, they are transmitted to the chroma decoder (IC1320) via the OSD
