output to the DSD A/D converter and the line output circuit via the buffers (IC109, IC110, IC111,
and IC127). At that time, the C-channel and SW-channel audio is mixed with the front speaker audio
by the mixer (IC101) depending on the speaker setting.
• Output to the DSD A/D converter

The analog audio signal output to the DSD A/D converters (IC2011, IC2021, IC2031, and
IC2041) is converted into DSD digital signal, and then converted to digital PCM signal by the
DSD/PCM converter (IC2161) via the selectors (IC2063, IC2064, and IC2052). If digital audio
processes such as sound field and equalizer are applied, it is output to DSP1 (IC2201).
If no digital audio process is applied, it is directly output from the DSD/PCM (IC2161) to the DC
OUT digital filter (IC2401), shortcutting the digital signal process path.
• Output to the line out terminal

The output analog audio signal is input to the audio selector (IC1205). For the subsequent actions,
refer to “5. Audio Output Circuit - (1) Line output, (ii) Outputting the analog multi input”.

The control data output from the main microprocessor (IC2601 33-pin) is decoded by the digital
I/O control (IC2451), and the output is selected by the 3-bit signal (IC2451 pins 5, 6, and 7) output
to the input selector (IC2093). The SPDIF digital signal selected by the input selector (IC2093) is
output to the digital audio interface receiver (IC2121).
(ii) Selecting the digital coaxial signal

The digital coaxial signal is input to the digital audio interface receiver (IC2121) via the
waveform shapers (IC2091 and IC2092).
(iii) Decoding the SPDIF signal

The digital light signal and the digital coaxial signal input to the digital audio interface receiver
(IC2121) at (i) and (ii) are selected with the signal (IC2601 21-pin) from the main microprocessor.
Then, the SPDIF signal is decoded and the music signal extracted from the RDATA terminal
(IC2121 21-pin) is output to the digital signal selector (IC2206).
