Q. I want to set the price level to one-shot in Price band 2 from within the

A. Create a macro “2F92” and assign this key to the trading function list
screen

Q. I want to set the price level to stay down in Price band 2 from within the

A. Create a macro “2F91” and assign this key to the trading function list
screen.

2.12 Zero prices
Q. All the prices have gone to zero, this is not a time plan issue or VIP.

A. The problem on this occasion was the Application Version.
If a product is set as a condiment all products entered after this are at zero
Price, this is normal with the list.
But all products stay at zero until a reboot is done….
This is now fixed.

2.13 Deposits
Q. How can I make a minus plu?

A. Assign a PLU to a Negative department.

2.14 Zero priced item print
Q. When I sell a Zero priced item ie (a qualifier ‘How Cooked’) the product is
printed on the BILL. How can I stop this?

A. You will have a price in one of the other price levels , this will cause the
product to be printed. To stop this happening ensure that all the price levels
for this product are set to zero.

2.15 Surplus
Q. When taking a report within Venta Pro there is a figure against SURPLUS,
what is this referring to.

A. If in the PAYMENT setting screen a payment type is set for Over
Tender as well as No Change and No Gratuity the over tendered
amount will appear as SURPLUS.

2.16 Delete Spool files
Q. I would like to create a macro that deletes the spool files from within the
trading screen.
