INTRODUCTION
Menus
SYSTEM MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS
There are two maintenance options; File Maintenance and System Configuration.  The File
Maintenance option displays a menu showing functions which maintain the products and
servers offered for use  in the system.  The System Configuration option displays a menu
showing the functions which configure the terminal system for operation.
To access System Maintenance, you should exit from the Main Menu on the master terminal.
Please note that authorised personnel only should be able to access the system maintenance
functions.

Press the CLR button on the terminal keyboard.
 
Ä 
Enter the authorised server number and password on the terminal keyboard.
 
Ä 
Type TILLFM and press ENTER on the PC keyboard attached to the terminal.
FILE MAINTENANCE

When the System Maintenance Menu is displayed, use the up and down arrow keys to move
the highlight bar to File Maintenance and press ENTER.  Alternatively, you can select a
function by pressing the number beside the File Maintenance option.

To return to the System Maintenance Menu, press the 
-
 key on the number pad, usually
positioned at the top right-hand corner of the keyboard.
The following options are available on the File Maintenance Menu :-
Product File  -  To set up and maintain the products and prices you want to register at the
terminals.
Keyboard File  -  To allocate the key positions of all the keys you want to use on the terminal
keyboard.  Up to nine keyboard layouts may be specified.
Keyboard Macros  -  Macro keys can be set up to enable the user to press one key on the
terminal keyboard instead of several key depressions.
Preset PLUs  -  To set up and maintain the product keys you want to use as fast entry keys on
the terminal keyboard.
List File  -  To set up and maintain the product list information you want to use on the terminal
keyboard.
Group File  -  To set up group numbers for classifying products.
Department File  -  To set up department numbers for classifying products.
Server File  -  To set up and maintain the server numbers for all personnel that may wish to
use the terminals.
Table File  -  To set up and maintain the table numbers and descriptions for the site.
