UP600/700 Intermittent “OFF” Causing lock out

SUBJECT:
The UP600/700 Machine can become locked up with the OFF displayed on the
Top/Left of the operator Screen.
q 
CONTENTS:
If the UP600/700 is part of a networked system with Overlap Clerk the OFF text
can appear on the Top Left of the operator screen.
If a Clerk remains on the machine in Overlap Mode and a different Clerk is then
inserted and the mode switch is then turned to position MGR or X1/Z1 or X2/Z2
the “OFF” text may appear and the machine will become locked out.
If the Clerk key is not signed on before the Mode switch changes position the
Phenomenon will not occur.
Although the occurrence rate is rare an SSP has been released to overcome this
phenomenon.

To prevent the occurrence of lock out please install the following
