8.2. High Light Chroma Clip Adjustment
Test Point:
CN5 (Video Output Connector)Video Board

Keep the Colour Temperature at 3 200° K.

Aim the Camera at the White Chart or White Paper.

Set the Gain Control of the Vectorscope to maximum.

Adjust data with the ARROW
keys so that the
Chrominance level becomes minimum for the first time as
shown in Fig. 5-10.

Press the ENTER key.

Select the item "8.5. ATW LIMIT MSB" with the ARROW
keys and press the ENTER  key, then the initial page as
shown in Table 5-3 will be displayed.

At the prompt, type the 4A and press the ENTER key.

Press the ESC key and select the item "8.3. ATW R CH
HIGH LIMIT" with the ARROW keys.

Press the ENTER key for next adjustment.
8.3. ATW Rch High Limit Adjustment
Test Point:
CN5 (Video Output Connector) Video Board

Change the Colour Temperature from 3 200°K to 6 400°K
by mounting the Colour Temperature Conversion Filters
on the Lens.

Aim the Camera at the White Chart or White Paper.
8
Set the Gain Control of the Vectorscope to maximum.

Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the vector posi-
tions at shifts by 40 mV ± 20 mV to the Cyan side of the
Vectorscope as shown in Fig. 5-11.

Press the ENTER key for next adjustment.
8.4. ATW Bch High Limit Adjustment

Keep the Colour Temperature at 6 400°K.

Adjust data with the ARROW keys so that the vector posi-
tions at shifts by 40 mV ± 20 mV to the Cyan side of the
Vectorscope as shown in Fig. 5-10.

In case of completing the adjustment for steps 8.3 and 
8.4.
8
After completing the adjustment, press the QUIT (F3) key,
then the menu as shown in "<SAVE CAMERA DATA TO 
FILE :

, EVR? Y/N>" will be displayed.

Press the key, and then press the ENTER key to finish
this adjustment procedure.

In case of not completing the adjustment for steps 8.3 and 
8.4.

Keep the Colour Temperature at 6 400°K.

In case of not completing the adjustment for step 8.3.

At the prompt, type the 48 and press the ENTER key for 
repeat adjustment step 8.3.

In case of not completing the adjustment for step 8.4.

Or at the prompt, type the 42 and press the ENTER  key
for repeat adjustment step 8.4.

In case of not completing the adjustment for steps 8.3 and 
8.4 both.
8
Or at the prompt, type the 40 and press the ENTER  key
for repeat adjustment steps 8.3 and 8.4 both.

Repeat adjustment steps 8.3 to 8.5  until vector positions
at shifts by 40 mV ± 20 mV to the Cyan side of the
Vectorscope.

After completing the adjustment, press the QUIT (F3) key,
then the menu as shown in "<SAVE CAMERA DATA TO
FILE :
