5-2-4. Bright Pixel Adjustment
The Bright Pixel Adjustment is as follows.
Note:
 
•  Perform this adjustment after that performed in 5-2-2. AWB Bad Pixel 
Adjustment and 5-2-3. Lens shading Adjustment.
•  Use an USB charging adaptor to make the adjustment.
•  The adjustment may take long time depending on the charge status of the 
internal battery.
•  It takes about 65 minutes until the Bright Pixel Adjustment is completed.
The first 10 to 20 minutes are warm-up time and the other time is used for 
adjustment.
If the unit is not fully charged, however, warm-up may require 20 or more 
minutes.
•  If the unit becomes the state shown below during the adjustment, the 
adjustment may not be successful.
In that case, turn off the power and retry the adjustment.
− Run TimeCnt: When xxxxx... is above 100
− When the adjustment is not completed in 120 minutes
The adjustment finished normally.

Screen display
While the bright pixel adjustment is in progress, the screen changes as follows.
The screen changes repeatedly until the adjustment is completed or fails.
Equipments required: Cover camera lens
(All black)
USB charging adaptor
Camera
Black cloth
In case of the adjustment is finished normally,
the adjustment completion indication appears
on the screen. (Fig. 5-2-21)
After the adjustment has been completed, turn off the
power of the unit.
Turning off the power here deletes the related files
generated during the adjustment.
Note:
When the lens module is replaced, the adjustment may
be completed up to this process.
However, delete the firmware file from the START drive.
Confirm the indication
on the screen.
Finished normally.
Finished abnormally.
Cover camera lens (all black). (Fig. 5-2-15)
Touch the left key, then Bright Pixel Adjustment starts.
The camera is warmed up for 10 to 20 minutes.
Perform the adjustment from beginning if the screen got frozen.
Check that the camera is on the adjustment mode.
* For the setting procedure of the adjustment mode, refer to “5-1-4. Setting the Adjustment Mode” (Page 5-3).
Connect the USB charging adaptor. Then the charge lamp (orange) blinks.
In case of the adjustment is finished abnormally,
the following indication appears on the screen.

In case of the Bright Pixel adjustment is failed,
after turning off the power of the camera,
restart the adjustment from the AWB Bad Pixel
adjustment.
The screen will light out for a few seconds, then the screen will turn to that shown in Fig. 5-2-16 to Fig. 5-2-20
repeatedly until the adjustment is completed or fails.
