1-4-3. Actions to Be Taken when Inspection Resulted in Failure
Perform the following procedure for checking.
1. Check that no dust is present on the BT cover and the packing of the cabinet.

Check that the microphone hole is covered with a radiation sheet B, and that the radiation sheet B is firmly stuck with no dust.

Opening/closing the battery/memory card cover or multi-connector cover may lead to degradation of the sealing gasket. We recommend that once
a year you take the camera to your dealer, or to an authorized repair shop, to have the sealing gasket replaced for a fee.

Checking Items
• Confirm that there is no air-leak.
• Confirm that there is no strain on the exterior.

• Replace the BTL packing and the BTL O Ring.

1-5-2. Replacing the BTL packing and the BTL O Ring
1. Remove the two fixed BTL V Shafts of BTL packing.

2. Remove the BTL packing, and confirm that there is no scratch such as defect on the BT Cover or Plate.

3. Install the new BTL packing and the new BTL O Ring. (also use the new BTL V Shafts)
Note: Be careful that there is no dust on the packing.
