To configure SMB PrintingClick on Other to enable “Windows Printing Service”. 
 
Enter both Server and Workgroup/Domain name to where you want the AR-P15 to appear on the network. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
If you want to use WINS (Windows Internet Name Service) to name the AR-P15, click on Next and Enable 
WINS server. Either enable Auto IP for auto configuration or manually enter a static WINS address, using the 
“10” key on the control panel. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Click Set to save the settings and reboot the controller. 
 
Note: 
Once the controller has rebooted, the AR-P15 will appear in Network Neighbourhood as a computer with 
the name entered within the Windows Print Service setup. The actual time required for the AR-P15 to 
appear in the Network Neighbourhood will depend on the size of the workgroup and the number of other 
protocols used on the network. The AR-P15 can also be found by clicking on StartFind, and Computer; 
then type the name entered as Server Name previously.  
 
When the icon for the AR-P15 is doubled clicked, printer icon(s) will appear. The name of the printer(s) will 
be displayed as PrintHold, and Direct , depending on installed options. 
 
A standard AR-P15 will only publish a Direct printer.
