the cursor to the required field and entering the new details as described in Adding a Product

DELETING A PRODUCT

Use the S, B, N, or P options to locate the product details you want to delete.

Press D to delete the details of the product displayed on the screen.

The message “Record deleted” is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Press any key to
continue.
SEARCHING FOR A PRODUCT BY PLU CODE

Press S to search for a particular product on the file by PLU code.
PLU Code:
Enter a valid PLU code, which identifies the product. Where you do not know the PLU
code, you can press F2 to display the product codes and description. Use the page up and down
keys to locate the product required. Move the highlight to the product using the up and down arrow
keys and press ENTER to select the item.

Press B to search for a particular product on the file by barcode.

Enter a valid barcode, which is assigned, to the product. Where you do not know the
barcode, you can press F2 to display the barcodes currently on the barcode file. Use the page up
and down keys to locate the barcode required. Move the highlight to the barcode using the up and
down arrow keys and press ENTER to select the barcode.

NOTE: Remember to delete the product from the pre-set key or any list files, mix and match
offers, and barcode records in which it was used.
