Under no circumstances will Sharp be liable for any claim that is made for the labour
content for either workshop or field repair.
PLEASE NOTE: -
a)
If a  unit is received physically damaged either accidentally or by misuse or
attempted repair, the Sharp contractor will not attempt the repair.
b)
No advance replacement for printers or PWB's is available so it is recommended
that the Dealer hold spare units.
c)
Consumable items (i.e. rolls, ribbons) exterior panels or covers are  not covered
under warranty.
10.0 Damaged in Transit
If on receipt of a Cash Register or Cash Register Option the unit is found to be
physically damaged the Dealer should choose one of the following options: -

Refuse Delivery.
P
Make a note of the suspected damage on the drivers documents.
P
Report the incident to Sharp Distribution Tel: 0161-204-2556 or 0161-204-2334
as soon as possible, but no later than 3 days after receipt
NB  
No action can be taken by Sharp if the damage is not reported as specified
11.0 Repair of out of Warranty Machines Unit Parts
Repair of out of warranty machines i.e. over 12 months from the date of purchase from
Sharp Electronics (UK) Ltd: -
Units can be returned to the Sharp approved service contractor directly if the Dealer
wishes not to carry out the repair himself.
The dealer will be invoiced for the labour and parts content of the repair.
NO warranty claim will be accepted by Sharp for any content of this invoice. The Dealer
must settle his account with the contractor directly.
Do not send faulty units to Sharp for repair unless specifically told to do so by a member
of the ECR / EPOS Technical Department.
