The type refers to the key type, if you press C to change, the type area
will be highlighted, now press space bar or enter the equivalent number
and the type will change between the following keys:-
EMPTY
EDIT/CONTROL
DATA
FUNCTION
PRODUCTS PRE-SET
SERVER PRE-SET
PAYMENT
LIST
and MACRO
Empty would be selected if the key is not to be used.
The Edit /control keys can be viewed by pressing the f2 key, once you
have selected the key to be a edit/control type.
The data keys refer to the numeral’s 0 to 9
When you select the key type to be function you will notice the message
“f2 for list” appear at the bottom of the screen, pressing this will display
the function keys as a sub menu, you can then page up and page down
to view more.
We will look at the function keys in more detail later.
Most of the keys are self explanatory, but each one will be explained
when we get to an area called function control.
The next choice of key type selection is pre-set products. Here you
would assign a number between zero and 98 giving you a total of 99
pre-sets per keyboard.
To complete the pre-set programming you would assign a product code
to a pre-set code in an area of programming called pre-set products.
Server pre-set is the next option
There can be up to 10 pre-set servers on each keyboard.
