This diagnostics is used to check the clerk key input.
If communication with IOC is abnormal,  "IOC  ERROR" is displayed.
Pressing the Esc key will exit from this check mode to return to the
service-man diagnostics menu.

The code of the key which is inserted into the clerk key switch is
displayed in decimal numbers.

This diagnostics is used to check parallel interface of the ER-A8RS
(optional PWB).
The display shows the following menu. The highlighted cursor is
moved with the cursor up key (

↑

) and the cursor down key (

↓

) of the

AT key. Move the cursor to the diagnostics item to be executed, then
press the Enter key, and the selected individual diagnostics program
will be executed. After completion of an individual diagnostics pro-
gram, the display returns to the menu screen. To exit from the diag-
nostics mode, press the Esc key, and the display will return to the
service-man diagnostics menu screen.

Check contents
Loop check is performed to LPT1 at I/O address 378H 

∼

 37FH.

To perform the loop check, insert an ER-A8RS to be checked to
the extension slot, insert another ER-A8RS which is operating
normally to another slot, and connect the loop cable (UKOG-
6717RCZZ) as shown in Fig. 3-3.
For the jumper setting on the PWB, refer to Fig. 3-4.

The test procedures are as follows:

i.

Data 55H is written into I/O address 378H, and the same
address is read. If the read data is not 55H, "LPT1 Disabled"
is displayed and the following procedures are not performed.

ii.

Data 01H is written into I/O address 3BEH, and data at I/O
address 379H is read. If the read data is 47H, "AC-Signal OK"
is displayed. If not, "AC-Signal ERROR" is displayed.

iii.

Data 02H is written into I/O address 3BEH, and data at I/O
address 379H is read. If the read data is 87H, "BUSY Signal
OK" is displayed. If not, "BUSY Signal ERROR" is displayed.
