Addition: 
VTM CLASS MATERIAL: Thin MATERIALS fulfil the 
specified conditions during the test of clause A.101 
applied for materials that the test and evaluation of 
clauses A.6 to A.10 is difficult to enforce. Materials are 
classified to three classifications as VTM-0, VTM-1 and 
VTM-2 according to the conditions after the removal of 
the test flame.

Marking for CLASS 0I EQUIPMENT 

For CLASS 0I EQUIPMENT, the following instruction 
shall be indicated on the visible place of the mains plug 
or the main body: 

“Provide an earthing connection” 

Moreover, for CLASS 0I EQUIPMENT, the following 
instruction shall be indicated on the visible place of the 
main body or written in the operating instructions: 

“Provide an earthing connection before the mains plug 
is connected to the mains. And, when disconnecting 
the earthing connection, be sure to disconnect after 
pulling out the mains plug from the mains.”
