fitted with a 'standard plug' in accordance with 
Statutory Instrument 1768:1994 – The Plugs and 
Socket etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994, unless 
exempted by those regulations. 

NOTE – 'Standard plug' is defined in SI 1768:1994 and 
essentially means an approved plug conforming to BS 1363 
or an approved conversion plug.
