The principles of quoting and referring to
other standards in Annex P and reference
documents of IEC 60950-1 are as follows:
If the date of the reference document is
given, only that edition applies, excluding
any subsequent corrigenda and
amendments. However, parties
toagreements based on this part are
encouraged to investigate the possibilityof
applying the most recent editions of the
reference documents. For undated
references, the latest edition of the
referenced document applies, including any
corrigenda and amendments.
For the usage of international standards in
Chinese national standards and industry
standards is various, in the aim of
achieving easy operation and based on the
requirements of GB/T 1.1 and GB/T
20000.2, when quoting an entire
international standard in the normative
quoting files and reference documents of
Annex P of this part, the principles of
quotation are as follows:
- If there is no national standard or industry
standard corresponding to the international
standard, then the international standard is
quoted;
- If there is national standard or industry
standard corresponding to the international
standard, then either the national or
industry standard is quoted;
- If the date of the national standard or
industry standard is not given, the latest
edition of the standard applies;
- The national standard or industry
standard number, corresponding
international standard number and the
consistency level code should be identified
in parentheses behind the listed national
standard or industry standard.
When quoting several chapters or clauses
of the international standard, the principles
of quotation are as follows:
