Trouble: Color and image of print result is not normal.
Remedy:

. Print the density confirmation pattern (gray) by “Mechanic Test” in the service mode and

confirm the image. (Refer to Section 3-1.)

. Confirm the flexible flat cable (DK-HE) and connector.
. Confirm the flexible flat cable (MD-HE) and connector.
. Confirm IC201, IC204 and IC231 on the DK-46 board, and peripheral circuit.

In this unit, the “status of printer” and “status of last 10 errors” are displayed and confirmed in the service
mode.

Start the service mode. (Refer to Section 3-2.)

2.

Shift the frame to “Print Status” using the Arrow key and press the Enter key.

The “Status display” screen is displayed on the color monitor.
