Please refer to Block diagram on page 25 in the Service manual.
When RVDD (3.3V)  is supplied to RESET (U32), RESET outputs a reset signal 
to PHYSICAL LAYER TRANSCEIVER (U26).
Then, PHYSICAL LAYER TRANSCEIVER starts up.
PHYSICAL LAYER TRANSCEIVER is supporting the physical data processing.
The logical data processing is supported by SYSTEM CONTROLLER (U1).
SYSTEM CONTROLLER and PHYSICAL LAYER TRANSCEIVER send data 
with TXD and RXD data lines. And, clock, error and enable or valid signals are 
also sent for data communication.
The condition of PHYSICAL LAYER TRANSCEIVER can be checked with four 
LEDs.
While Ethernet signal communication have no problem, LED turns on or flashing 
frequently by data communication timing.
