1.  Attach the focus rubber ring (8948) so that its convex comes to the mount side.

Grease (FT-210): 9-913-200-37

1.  Apply grease (FT-210) to the gear part of the Focus Interlock Ring (8948).
2.  Install the focus joint ring assy to the unit while inserting the lever of the focus joint plate (8948) into the groove of the 2nd group 

movement frame.

Bond (B-10) : J-6082-612-A

1.  Set the unit to the TELE end, install the brush (8948), and secure it with a screw.
Note:

  Set the brush (8948) at the position of the LF-145 flexible board ZM-AFM8948 (8948) pattern referring to the figure.

2. After 

performing 4-7-3. Zoom Pattern Inspection , apply the adhesive bond (B-10) to the head of screw.

1.  Apply the grease (G-85) to the indicated portion of center barrel assy.
Note:

  Avoid applying the grease outside in the application-prohibited areas.

2.  Apply the grease (G-118) to the indicated portion of center barrel assy.
