1.  Stick the 1st group sheet (8948) matching its printed characters with the index mark as shown in the figure.

  Be careful so that the deviation of sticking shall be within one character (right and left).

Bond (B-110) : J-6082-617-A

1.  Insert the 1st group lens assy into the 1st group movement frame at the position where the hole in the 1st group lens assy shifts approx. 

20 degrees clockwise from the index mark.

2.  Turn the 1st group lens assy approx. 20 degrees counterclockwise to the position where the hole in the 1st group lens assy matches the 

index mark.

3.  Apply the bond (B-110) after  4-5-2. Focus Shift(Focal Distance)/Flange Back (f F) Adjustment  has been completed.

Apply the bond
(B-110)

1.  Open the aperture lever.
2.  Open the preset lever and maintain the position, and then install the mount assy block to the unit while inserting the preset lever into 

the aperture lever.

1.  Set the unit to the TELE end.
2.  While inserting the variable resistor lever into the encoder plate groove, install the rear retainer ring assy and secure it with 4 screws.
3.  Turn the focus control ring and the focus rubber ring (8948) to check whether the variable resistor lever is inserted into the encoder 

plate groove.
