2. Confi rmation After Destination Setting
Execute the following operation after completing the destination 
setting, and confi rm a correct destination was set.

Destination setting checking method:
1.  In the state of source off (the clock is displayed on the liquid 

crystal display), enter the test mode by pressing the buttons 
in order of the [

 4] 

t [5] t [PAUSE 6] (press only the 

[PAUSE 6] button for two seconds).

2.  In the state in which the system controller version is displayed 

on the liquid crystal display (refer to following fi gure), enter 
the destination setting value display mode by pressing the [

 

SCRL DSPL] button twice.

3. Confi rm the alphanumeric character of 12 digits of in liquid 

crystal display is an value correctly input.

4.  The resetting operation is executed by pressing the [

 

OFF 

SRC] button for 1 second after the confi rming ends, and the 
unit returns to the normal condition.

operation and checks it.

NOTE  OF  PERFORMING  THE  OPERATION  CHECK
When performing the operation check in the state that is removed 
the CD mechanism deck from the main unit, it is necessary to use 
a long fl exible fl at cable.
When performing the operation check, use following fl exible fl at 
cable.

NOTE  OF  REPLACING  THE  KEY  BOARD
When the KEY board is defective, replace the FRONT PANEL 
OVERALL ASSY (Ref. No. FP1).

NOTE  OF  REPLACING  THE  IC602  AND  IC1301  ON  
THE  MAIN  BOARD
IC602 and IC1301 on the MAIN board cannot replace with single. 
When these parts are damaged, replace the complete mounted 
board.

The unit may not function properly if the 
connectors between the unit and the front panel 
are not clean. In order to prevent this, detach the 
front panel (page 5) and clean the connectors with 
a cotton swab. Do not apply too much force. 
Otherwise, the connectors may be damaged.

ˎ For safety, turn off the ignition before cleaning the 

connectors, and remove the key from the ignition 
switch.

ˎ Never touch the connectors directly with your fingers 

or with any metal device.
