Confirm the firmware version from the network manu, and update
it as follows.

In checking this set, connect the extension jigs as the figure shown below.

For network setting, refer to the Operating Instructions and Quick
Setup Guide of the CPF-IX001.

1. Start up the PC with the “M-crew Server Ver. 2.0” installed.
2. Connect each units and turn on the power.
3. Press the [SUSPEND] key on the remote commander to wake-

up the set and wait until connect with sever PC. If there are
multiple servers, “SERVER?” appears, then press the [ENTER]
key on the remote commander. And select the server by the

4. Confirm that the wireless icon indicates 2 or 3 bars.
5. If indicated bar is 1 or less, reduce the distance from wireless

router to 1 to 2 m, and confirm that the icon is indicated as
follow.

Transmission rate is IEEE802.11g: 3 bars
Transmission rate is IEEE802.11b: 2 bars

Update the firmware for the CPF-IX001.

The version of the current firmware is displayed.

Select the firmware file you want to update.

Click [Browse] to show the dialog for selecting the firmware.

Click the button to update.

When you click the button, the firmware confirmation window appears.

 

If you select the right firmware, updating starts. The CPF-IX001 restarts 
automatically when the update is completed. 
If you select an incorrect firmware, click [Retry] and select the correct one.

 

• Do not restart the CPF-IX001, set it to the suspended mode, or turn off the 

power while updating the firmware.
