2-3. Cold Reset
The cold reset clears data except BD/DVD data stored in the RAM 
to initial conditions. Execute this mode when returning the set to 
the customers.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test menu.
2.  Press the [+] buttons on the remote commander to select the 
“COLD RESET”, and press the [
3
] button on the remote com-
mander.
3.  The message “COLD RESET” appears on the fluorescent indi-
cator tube, then becomes standby states.

1.  Connect the DMPORT device to this set.
2.  Enter the test menu.

4.  The DMPORT device enter to the test mode. The operation of 
the test mode is different according to each device.
 
Example of connecting TDM-iP20:
 
When it enters the test mode and some button operations are 
done, the software version is displayed by blinking LED.

seconds afterwards. The blinking frequency at this time shows

shows the fi rst digit of minor version.
 
Next, LED blinks every 0.2 seconds, and LED is turned off 
for 0.7 seconds afterwards. The blinking frequency at this time 
shows the second digit of minor version.
 
Then, it returns to the state that LED blinks.
5.  To release from this mode, press the [
?/1
] button.

4.  The S-AIR ID is changed, and release from the test menu.
