8. White Balance Adjustment
[Adjustment steps]
The adjustment gradation values and the adjustment values are displayed on [M GAMMA INFO] (Page 6-7) and [M GAMMA 1-3] [M GAMMA 4-6]
(Pages 6-8), respectively, of process adjustment. The white balance adjustment is made based on the values on Pages 6-8 & 6-9.
Check to see if the adjustment gradation values for Points 1 thru 6 on [M GAMMA INFO] (Page 6-7) are as follows. If not, modify the value(s).
MGAMMA POS 1: 4
MGAMMA POS 2: 9
MGAMMA POS 3: 14
MGAMMA POS 4: 19
MGAMMA POS 5: 24
MGAMMA POS 6: 29
1. Get the current adjustment of Point 6 displayed. (Each time the "6" button on the remote controller is pressed, the adjustment status display
changes as follows: Normal display --> "6" --> Confirm display (OSD off) --> "6" --> Normal display -->...)
2. Take the luminance meter reading.
3. Readjust the MGAMMA R6, MGAMMA B6 and MGAMMA G6 settings (adjustment values) on Page 9 so that the luminance meter should read
closer to x = 0.272 and y = 0.277.
4. Get the current adjustment of Point 5 displayed. (Each time the "5" button on the remote controller is pressed, the adjustment status display
changes as follows: Normal display --> "5" --> Confirm display (OSD off) --> "5" --> Normal display -->...)
Readjust the MGAMMA R5 and MGAMMA B5 settings (adjustment values) on [M GAMMA 4-6] (Page 6-8) so that the luminance meter should
read closer to x = 0.272 and y = 0.277.
5. Do the same for Points 4, 3, 2 and 1 in the same way as in Step 4).
