MX-EB13 Wireless LAN USB Adaptor

The MX-EB13 Wireless adaptor provides two modes of operation:
• Infrastructure Mode
• Ad hoc Mode
• Ad hoc Mode
Infrastructure mode provides the option of connecting a Sharp MFP to a wireless network Wireless Access
Point (WAP). In this mode of operation the MFP can be connected to both a Wireless network (via a WAP)
and to a wired Ethernet LAN using the RJ45 Ethernet port on the machine.
The Ad hoc mode of operation provides for the option of a direct connection between another wireless
enabled device and the Sharp MFP. In this “peer-to-peer” mode the MX-EB13 can connect with up to 5
wireless devices, simultaneously. Please note that the Ad hoc mode may not be used in combination with
the Infrastructure mode.
Point (WAP). In this mode of operation the MFP can be connected to both a Wireless network (via a WAP)
and to a wired Ethernet LAN using the RJ45 Ethernet port on the machine.
