The AXIS 7000 is designed for quick and easy installation on both 
your network and your digital copier or scanner. It has a number of 
interesting features that will help you to simplify the distribution of 
your paper-based information, including:

Speed
Auto-sense for automatically detecting the speed of the local network 
segment and varying the rate of data communication accordingly, 
between 10Mbps and 100Mbps. Transparent operation for Ethernet 
and Fast Ethernet networks.
Improved AXIS ETRAX 100 hardware, comprising an integrated 32 
bit RISC processor and associated network controllers. Provides high 
performance and reliability combined with low power consumption. 
Security
Password protection of Administration tools.
User authentication supported.
Upgrading
Firmware downloadable to Flash memory using FTP.
