Symptom
After leaving a machine in the ready condition for a long time, which is disabled Energy
saver timer setting (08-205) and Auto power-off timer setting(08-206), copying a solid
image may cause glossy lines in the image due to grease of Cleaning roller (felt) on rare
occasions.

Description
1.Temporary measure
Enabling Energy saver timer setting (08-205) and Auto power-off timer setting (08-206)
can prevent the problem.
2.Permanent measure
1. Cleaning roller (felt): In order to control the quantity of grease, 1) decrease the diameter
of holes, 2) decrease the number of holes.
2. Low speed pre-running control to prevent the long time leaving is added.
System ROM, UI-ROM, Main ROM, Laser ROM and Scanner ROM should be upgraded
to the latest version described in T/R No.ARE-543.
Default of the new established control code is as following:
