3.Open front cabinet & remove jam

5.Open delivery unit for more than

6.Close delivery unit.

Seized lower fuser roller bearings – 
replace.

Z Folding 

Transport clutches contaminated with 
grease. Fit additional brake spring 

(MSPRP1881FCZ1)

 to transport roller 

and adjust Sim 51-02 (see Bulletin 
071). Replace transport clutches if Z-
folding persists.

POD1 misfeeds. 

Paper jams at large white pressure 
rollers after DGS sensor. Attach 
additional mylars to guide paper into 
the nip of rollers.

POD2_N/NR misfeeds when using 
duplex mode. 

Warped “Turn Over” paper guide. Fit 
modified guide 

PGIDM1819FCZ1. 

 

Also check for worn TC guide  

(CGIDH1781FC51) 

and the TC earth 

spring is not missing

. 

 

If toner build up is evident on paper 
guide, also check Doctor Blade setting 
on DV unit.

Indents on paper after exiting. 

Check spring tension on exit guide. 
Remove exit springs when installing 
AR-FN1 & FN2 only.

Unable to reset machine following a 
paper jam. 

High resistance in the main door 
switches – replace. 
Ensure the exterior covers are closed 
in the correct order as per information 
guide.

Duplex misfeeds and/or skewing. 

Check duplex unit for cracks around 
curl correction unit. Fit modified 
support brackets (Bulletin 014):-
