Stock Manager 
 
 
 
 
 
 
System Structure 
 
•  One or more stockpoints can be created for each database. 
•  Apparent stock levels are held separately for each stockpoint. 
•  One or more stock sites can be created to consolidate multiple stockpoints. 
•  PLU sales from one or more locations can be assigned to each stockpoint. 
 
 
Stock Items 
 
•  Stock items are held in a separate file to PLU items. 
•  One PLU item can be linked to several stock items for recipe sales. 
•  Two or more PLU items can be linked to the same stock item for barcode redirection. 
•  Two or more PLU items can be linked to the same stock item for pint and half pint sales etc. 
•  Stock items can be generated automatically for new or existing PLU items. 
•  Stock items can be deleted automatically when the linked PLU item is deleted. 
•  Stock codes can be changed for existing items. 
•  Each stock item has a stock code, descriptive text and category setting. 
•  Stock units and sub units can be specified for each stock item if required. 
•  Automatic wastage levels can be specified for each stock item if required. 
•  Each stock item can be linked to up to five delivery methods from one or more suppliers. 
•  Each delivery method includes a stock unit yield, cost price, supplier stock code and outer code. 
 
 
Suppliers 
 
•  Supplier name and address details can be entered for order processing. 
•  Supplier information can be imported from a CSV file. 
 
 
Processing Sales 
 
•  Automatic adjustment of stock levels as sales are imported from the EPOS network. 
•  PLU sales from several locations can be assigned to the same stockpoint if required. 
•  Comprehensive exception handling for PLU sales that do not match the current database. 
•  PLU sales can be entered manually at the computer by stockpoint or EPOS location. 
•  PLU sales can be imported from a CSV file by stockpoint or EPOS location. 
 
 
Deliveries 
 
•  Adhoc deliveries can be entered by PLU number, stock code or outer code. 
•  Free stock can be differentiated from paid for deliveries. 
•  Delivery quantities can be specified by stock unit or delivery unit. 
•  Delivery costs are estimated automatically based on current database prices. 
•  Items can be searched for by supplier or across the whole database. 
•  Deliveries can be imported from a CSV file. 
•  The current delivery session can be previewed to show its effect on apparent stock. 
•  One or more delivery sessions can be kept on file for future editing and completion. 
 
 
 
 
 
Order Processing 
 
•  Orders can be generated from minimum and reorder levels for each stock item. 
•  Orders can be generated to replace stock sales for a specified period. 
•  Orders can be generated across the database as whole, or separately by stockpoint. 
•  Orders can be previewed and edited before being forwarded for processing. 
•  Purchase orders can be printed, or emailed directly to the supplier. 
•  Orders can be split at delivery time to allow for partial delivery. 
•  Orders can be saved and then used a template for future reordering. 
 
 
Other Stock Movements 
 
•  Returns can be processed using similar options to adhoc deliveries. 
•  Adjustments can be processed for breakages, spoiled goods, etc. 
•  Automatic Wastage can be calculated by percentage for spillages etc. 
•  EPOS Wastage can be imported from terminals that support this feature or entered manually ( Not available 
for Stock Manger X500 ). 
•  Stock Transfers can be processed for databases with two or more stockpoints. 
•  Incoming or outgoing transfers can be enabled or disabled separately for each stockpoint. 
•  All of these stock movements can be entered manually or imported from a CSV file. 
•  One or more return or adjustment sessions can be kept on file for future completion. 
•  All stock movements are logged, and can be displayed in a line-by-line audit.  
 
 
Stocktaking 
 
•  Twenty separate stocktakes can be open at any one time for each stockpoint. 
•  Each new stocktake can include items from any combination of category and supplier. 
•  Stocktakes can be used to close the current period or simply to adjust apparent stock levels. 
•  Trading can continue while the closing stock figures are being collected and processed. 
•  Variance and reconciliation reports can be printed at any time while a stocktake is open. 
•  Any stock movements that occur while a stocktake is open will be carried forward to the new stock period 
when the stocktake is finalised. 
•  YTD sales and adjustments are updated automatically when a period stocktake is finalised. 
 
 
Barcode Labels 
 
•  Print requests for labels can be generated automatically in response to deliveries. 
•  The quantity and selection of labels to print can be edited before printing begins. 
•  Comprehensive control of label formats, including support for graphical logos. 
 
 
Hand Held Data Capture 
 
•  Links to hand held data capture devices for importing of Delivery / Closing stock quantities.
