Q) Is it possible to print out 2 loyalty receipts including a copy that has a 
signature line.

 

A) Yes.  Add the following entries to the S2001.ini file on each machine. 

 
LOYRCTCOPY=1 
LOYRCTSIGN=1 

 

Q) Is it possible to stop the servers name from appearing on the customer 

display.

 

A) Yes.  Add the following entry to the S2001.ini file on each machine. 
 
LOGGEDONNODISPLAY=1 

 

Q) Is it possible to show the mouse pointer on the screen.

 

A) Yes, delete the installed desktop shortcut and make a new one. 
ensure that the shortcut properties are as shown

Q) Within trading if I press the Time and Attendance button, it asks me if I want 
to ‘change server number’. is it possible to stop this message from appearing. 

A) Yes, this is a feature that allows a manager with sufficient authority to 

perform a ‘time & attendance’ operation for a member of staff that may have lost 
their sign on card. To stop this message from appearing set a high authority 
level against VPM – Configure – Function Control – Functions – F46. 

 

Q) I am using a new Star TSP650 with firmware Ver3.1 –b2.1, and when I print 
a receipt the £ symbol is shown as a ‘

’. how can I correct this so that it prints 

the £ symbol correctly. 

A) To print the correct £ symbol, use the latest Printer.def file or add the 
following Epson ESC/POS command to the beginning of your printer type in 

c:\Vpro\Data\Printer.def file.
