Choose option 7 - System Parameters

The system configuration sets up the information the terminal system requires to operate
effectively.  The site location details, VAT information and  the day on which the end-of-week
processing  will take place are specified.  There is also the facility to enter the maximum
number of records you want to hold on the system for PLUs, servers and tables.  The
parameters are usually set on installation of the system and rarely need changing.

Site Number:  Enter a reference code for the site, up to four digits.

No of Tills:  Enter the highest node number in operation on the site (this includes all hardware
devices on site).

Master Till No:  Enter the number of the master terminal.

System Details:  Up to five lines of 41 characters are available to enter the site name,
address and telephone number.  The details are printed on the customer receipt.

VAT Reg No:  Enter the VAT registration number for this site, up to fifteen characters.

VAT Rate A-F:  Enter the percentage value for each VAT rate, with up to three decimal places.
Up to six rates of VAT may  be specified.  The codes A-F  cannot be changed as the system
uses them to identify each VAT rate.
