A. Yes, because the printer assignment is under PGM Mode this can be achieved.
22. Buffer Full
Q. The machine only allows up to 48 items to be entered then comes up with
“Buffer Full” error my customer needs more than this for their GLU system.

A. No problem. The size of the Reg Buffer on the UP600/700 is defaulted to 48
items but can be increased to 9999 depending on your memory.

23. Discounts
Q. My customer wants to give an item discount and on the receipt show the PLU
item price followed by the Discount followed by the new PLU Discounted item

A. In this case the solution was to set up an Auto key which was Item discount

25. Decimal Point
Q. The decimal point has moved on the display. All the amounts displayed now
appear incorrect.
A. This is usually the result of accidentally allocating the 1/2 pence key to the
keyboard. This key should no longer be used.
