  Use of the ORDERSOLUTION 

 
By selecting Start Application in the Main Menu the items saved 
in the hand-held are compared to the OMB2 and, if required, 
synchronised. This screen can be disabled by the host.  
 
If the password option is enabled the user has to enter a secret code 
before he can enter the application. This ensures that orders can 
only be done by a waiter. 
If supported the password and the Automatic waiter logon can be 
enabled via your ECR. 
The password must be defined in the ECR.  
After this process, Open a Table is displayed.  

 

You can open a new table by selecting Input New Table and 
enter the number of the table, or select an open table. 
If no table is open the Input New Table View is displayed.  
If there are not transmitted orders left on a table, the table will 
flash periodically.  
 
Opening a table will force a request of already ordered items. The 
request of ordered items can be disabled by clearing the 
AutoTableSync flag (see User Flags).  

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The screen contents will be updated as soon as this information is received (The Table Nr 
field is flashing in this time). Ordering during this time is possible.  
The Bill button is used to reprint the last bill for the given table. The current state of the table 
is ignored.  
Tables opened on the host are not displayed in the Open Table List. 
Tap the X Button of the Select open Table view to leave the Select Open Table View. 
 
 

 

 

Automatic waiter logon reduces the level of security because it allows any person 
taking orders. The waiter passwords are defined via the POS. 

Depending on the ECR the number of persons may be 
requested before the table is opened. Please note that 
entering persons additional on the ECR can lead to 
problems on the ECR.
