3.6.  POWER CONTROL CIRCUIT

1.  Remove upper body as explained previously in paragraph 
3.1 Motor, points 1-2.
2.  Remove connections from contact spring and take out cord 
reel assembly and motor unit.
3.  Take out rear filter and remove power control circuit from 
its support.(Fig. 15) 
3.7.  FUSE (10A)
1.  Remove upper body as explained previously in paragraph 
3.1 Motor, points 1-2.
2.  Remove fuse lead wire (provided with quick-connect 
terminal) from the main switch tab and contact spring. 
(Fig.17)
3. Replace the fuse unit with a new one and connect 
according to the schematic diagram. Note: Make sure 
switches SW1 / SW2 are correctly assembled as indicated 
in figure 7.
4.  Connect the lead wires according to the schematic diagram 
and reassemble upper body and remaining parts in the 
reverse order.
Note: Make sure the lead wires are correctly positioned 
to avoid  pinching them between parts.
3.8. MAIN SWITCH
1.  Remove upper body as explained previously in paragraph 
3.1 Motor, point 1-2.
2.  Remove main switch and disconnect lead wires (provided 
with quick-connect terminal) from the main switch tabs. 
(Fig.18)
3.  Replace main switch with a new. Connect the lead wires to 
the switch tabs and reinstall it making sure the switch 
button is correctly positioned.  
Note: Make sure switches SW1 / SW2 are correctly 
assembled as indicated in figure 7.
4.  Note: Make sure the lead wires are correctly positioned 
to avoid pinching them between parts.
4.  Remove the lead wires provided with quick-connect 
terminal from the PCB and replace power control circuit 
with a new one. (Fig.16)
5.  Connect the lead wires (provided with quick-connect 
terminal) to the new PCB tabs as indicated on the 
schematic diagram and reinstall power control circuit 
in its support.
Note: Make sure the lead wires are correctly 
positioned in the motor  cover slots.
6.  Place back the motor unit and cord reel assembly. 
Connect the lead wires according to the schematic 
diagram and reassemble upper body and remaining 
parts in the reverse order.
