(2).Transferring the Initial Setting File

Turn off the power of the BM-ED500, and change the Dip
Switch (SW13) on the G-Box Board to the Setup Mode as
shown in Fig. 4-2.

Turn on the power of the BM-ED500.

Start “Config2Cam.exe” in the “C:\Iris\ConfigTool” directo-
ry by double-clicking it, and the window as shown in Fig.
4-3 will be displayed.

Enter the Gate IP Address, the Host IP Address and the
Client ID.

Click on the “Load” button.

If there is an Initial Setting File corresponding to the
Client ID (If the Client ID is 1, the Initial Setting File name
is “Gate0001_2Cam.ini”.), the setting of the Initial Setting
File will be read.
If there is not an Initial Setting File corresponding to the
Client ID, the default setting will be read, so change the
setting by clicking on the “Edit” button. (Refer to the oper-
ating instructions for details.)

Select “delete ALL” in “Action” as shown in Fig. 4-4, and
click on the “Write” button.

If the dialog “SysAPI_Command BioAPI_OK” appears,
writing has been completed properly, so click on the “OK”
button.

If the dialog “BioAPI_Attach Error” appears, click on the
“OK” button, and verify the IP Addresses of the BM-
ED500 and the Administration PC and LAN Cables.

Select “write Parameters” in “Action” as shown in Fig. 4-6,
and click on the “Write” button.

If the dialog “SysAPI_Command BioAPI_OK” appears,
writing has been completed properly, so click on the “OK”
button.

If the dialog “BioAPI_Attach Error” appears, click on the
“OK” button, and confirm that the IP Address of the BM-
ED500 or the Administration PC and LAN Cables are
properly set.
